- Currency setting per vehicle

- Date and time of sessions
- Odometer readings (km)
- State of charge (start/end percentages)
- Energy consumed (kWh)
- Charging duration
- Charging costs
- Charging type (AC/DC)
- Trip consumption from board computer (optional)
- Missed sessions indicator for data continuity

- Distance units (km/miles)
- Consumption units (kWh/100km, Wh/km, mi/kWh, kWh/100mi)

3. How We Use Your Information
The app uses information to:
- Provide and maintain the WattMate service
- Calculate charging statistics and efficiency metrics

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase services:
- Firebase Authentication: Manages accounts securely
- Cloud Firestore: Stores vehicle and charging data
- Firebase Remote Config: Delivers the EV catalog database
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Industry-standard security practices protect your information.
5. Third-Party Services
WattMate uses these third-party services:
- Google Firebase (authentication, database, cloud functions, app configuration)
- Google Sign-In (optional authentication method)
- Google Play Billing (subscription purchases for Premium tier)
- Brevo / Sendinblue (account verification emails)
- Frankfurter API (currency exchange rates; no personal data sent)
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Information may be shared:
- With your consent
- With service providers assisting in app operations (Section 5)
- To comply with legal obligations
- To protect app rights or user safety
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: View all your data within the app
- Export: Export charging sessions in CSV format
- Delete: Remove your account and all associated data
- Correct: Update your information at any time
How to Delete Your Account
To delete your account and associated data:
- Go to Settings
- Scroll to the Profile section
- Tap “Delete Account”
- Confirm by checking the acknowledgment checkbox
- Verify your identity (enter your password or sign in with Google)
This action is permanent and cannot be undone. All vehicles, charging sessions, and account data will be permanently deleted immediately.
8. Data Retention
- Data is retained while your account remains active
- Upon account deletion, all data is permanently removed from servers immediately
- Unverified accounts (not completed email verification) are automatically deleted after 7 days
9. Children's Privacy
WattMate is not intended for children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Changes to This Policy
The Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Significant changes will be communicated through in-app notifications or email.
